Larry Murante - Water's Edge 2000

Skilled singer, songwriter, and guitarist Larry Murante was raised in Nazareth, PA. In the early '80s, he moved to Seattle where he studied voice at the University of Washington. One of his many teachers was operatic singer Frank Guarerra.
The album, Kiss Me One More Time, was Murante's first solo release. He called in a number of top musicians to help out on this debut, including violinist Paul Elliot, guitarists John Morten and Rod Cook, drummer Dave Heath, bassist Dan Mohler, and pianist David Lange. A couple of the noteworthy tracks on this album are "Taste of Laughter" and "Love That Woman."
In 2000, Murante finished his sophomore recording, Water's Edge, released under the Weeping Wood Music label. Songs like "Between the Road and the River," "No Rhythm Just Blues," and "I Got Used to It" are some of the 11 original tunes on the album that offers more country flavor than folk. All of Murante's lyrics, whether country or rock seasoned, reach out with their words as much as the music. Murante is a wonderful storyteller and what better way to tell a story than with song. AMG. Thanks to B.
